progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Police have failed to determine the cause of death of celebrity Lula Lahfah due to a lack of permission to perform an autopsy from her family. The lack of permission for an autopsy has left the case of the death of content creator Reza Arab’s girlfriend in limbo.
This explanation was delivered by the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto, in response to media questions regarding the possibility that Lula Lahfah died from inhaling nitrous oxide (N2O), better known as laughing gas.
“Because permission for an autopsy was not granted, it’s difficult for us to answer this question. There’s no conclusion because there was no autopsy. That’s clear,” said Kombes Pol Bhudi during a press conference at the South Jakarta Metropolitan Polres Headquarters on January 30, 2026.
“Earlier, the Head of Criminal Investigation, AKBP Iskandarsyah, explained that the family did not want an autopsy. The reason is simple: no signs of violence or abuse were found,” he added.
The police have already closed the investigation into Lula Lahfah’s death. They found no evidence of abuse or any other criminal offense.
“The South Jakarta Polres Criminal Investigation Unit has declared this case closed. They found absolutely no evidence of a criminal offense,” he explained further.
On the same occasion, the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Polres, AKBP Iskandarsyah also stated, that investigators in this case had indeed found no evidence of a criminal offense in the shocking death of Lula Lahfah. There were absolutely no criminal elements.
“Sufficient evidence of a criminal offense has been found in this case. Therefore, the conclusion is that the investigation into the discovery of Sister LL’s body must be stopped,” said AKBP Iskandarsyah.
He also stated, that all investigative processes to seek evidence of a criminal offense had been carried out, starting with examining evidence and taking witness statements. This included conducting a post-mortem examination (Visum et Repertum).
“Sister LL died of asphyxiation. There were no signs of abuse or violence on her body during the post-mortem examination,” AKBP Iskandarsyah emphasized.
The late Lula Lahfah was found dead in his apartment in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Friday, January 23, 2026. Investigators had previously revealed Lula’s activities before his death. (Bembo)
