Polda of the West Java Traffic Director, Kombes Pol Raydian Kokrosono.

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Polda of the West Java Traffic Directorate conducted a comprehensive inspection of several routes for the 2026 Eid homecoming and return travel.

This mapping step was carried out to anticipate potential congestion and accidents during Operation Ketupat Lodaya during the 2026 Eid homecoming and return travel.

Polda of the West Java Traffic Director, Kombes Pol Raydian Kokrosono stated, that his team, along with the Kapolda of the West Java, had surveyed various main routes used by travelers in West Java.

“Together with the Kapolda, we have inspected several routes in West Java that serve as mainstays for the homecoming journey, starting with the flow of travelers from Jakarta and Sumatera to Central Java and East Java, including the return flow,” said Kombes Pol Raydian on Friday, February 20, 2026.

The routes inspected included the Pantura route, the Trans Java toll road, and the southern arterial route in the East Priangan region. Finally, inspections were conducted on the Pansela route, or South Coast.

According to Kombes Pol Raydian, during these inspections, his team mapped various potential vulnerabilities, both trouble spots and black spots, in each region.

“During the inspection, we mapped potential vulnerabilities, trouble spots, and black spots in each area. We have instructed the Traffic Police Chiefs to coordinate with relevant agencies so they can be managed before Operation Ketupat,” he said.

He hopes that by implementing early mitigation measures, this year’s Operation Ketupat Lodaya can run more smoothly than in previous years.

“We hope that Operation Ketupat Lodaya will run more smoothly than in previous years,” he concluded. (Bembo)
