3P Team of the Polda Metro Jaya’s Ditsamapta Arrests 4 Men Selling Tramadol in Tanah Abang

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Precision Pioneer Patrol (3P) Team of the Polda Metro Jaya’s Directorate of Police Supervision (Ditsamapta) arrested four men suspected of selling Tramadol in the Tanah Abang area, Central Jakarta. The action was carried out during a routine patrol on Sunday, February 22, 2026.
The patrol was led by Ipda Dedy Suhendro and Ipda Abdul Kadzim. A total of 37 joint personnel from the 3P Unit, the Monitoring Patrol, and female police officers were involved in the patrol. While combing Jalan Aipda Karel Satsuit Tubun, officers discovered suspicious transaction activity suggesting the illegal sale of hard drugs.
The four men, identified as S, I, MA, and WS, were immediately arrested along with evidence including 15 strips of Tramadol, a cellphone, and two wallets suspected of being connected to the transactions. The suspects were then handed over to the Tanah Abang Metropolitan Police for further processing.
The Director of the Polda Metro Jaya’ Samapta, Kombes Pol Wahyu Dwi Ariwibowo, emphasized that the Perintis Presisi patrols continue to be conducted to suppress the distribution of hard drugs within the Polda Metro Jaya’s jurisdiction.
“The presence of officers in the field is a preventative measure as well as law enforcement to ensure public order and security remains conducive,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto, appealed to the public not to be involved in the abuse or distribution of hard drugs without a permit. He also asked residents to immediately report any suspicious activity via the 110 Call Center, which is active 24 hours.
“We are handling this matter firmly, measuredly, and professionally. Public support is crucial to breaking the chain of illegal drug distribution,” he said. (Bembo)
