Richard Lee (DRL) has been officially detained at the Polda Metro Jaya Detention Center. The decision to detain the man born on October 11, 1985, was made because investigators assessed the suspect’s disregard for the law and his disobedience.

The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto, explained in his statement, that DRL had indeed demonstrated disobedience and disrespect for the law, despite being a suspect in the alleged criminal violation.

“During the summons for questioning as a suspect, DRL chose not to appear and instead conducted a TikTok live broadcast to promote his products. Based on his statement, he conducted the TikTok live broadcast on his own account to promote CV Athena products as part of his work,” explained Kombes Pol Bhudi on Saturday, March 7, 2026.

Investigators also considered detaining DRL for his apparent obstruction of the investigation. He failed to appear for additional questioning on March 3, 2026, without providing a clear explanation. However, on that day, DRL was found to be live on his TikTok account.

“Then, DRL also skipped mandatory reporting on Monday, February 23, 2026, and Thursday, March 5, 2026, without any clear reason. This was the reason investigators detained the suspect at 9:50 PM last night at the Polda Metro Jaya Detention Center,” he further emphasized. (Bembo)
