Implementation of the ‘Polantas Menyapa’ program by the Sub-Directorate of Regident at the Borma Mobile Driving License (Simling) location in Setiabudi, Bandung City

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Sub-Directorate Regident of the Polda West Java Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) once again greeted the public by presenting the ‘Polantas Menyapa’ program at the Borma Mobile Driving License (Simling) service location in Setiabudi, Bandung City, on Friday, (10/24).

The event was led by the Head of the Driving License Section of the Sub-Directorate of Regident of the Polda West Java Ditlantas, Kompol Pipit Witianingsih, representing the Head of the Regident Sub-Directorate of the Polda West Java Ditlantas, AKBP Aryo Dwi Wibowo.

Several personnel from the Regident Sub-Directorate of the Polda West Java Ditlantas were also present. Among them were AKP Aktuin Moniharapon, Ipda Whendy Capri Rosshario, Ipda Ridwan Gunawan, Ipda Agus Yohanda, Brigadier Egi Riyanto, Brigadier Melinda Wahyu Astuti, Brigadier Shendy Abi Pribadi, Briptu Cakra Prima Mandala, Briptu Arby Bram, and Arranger Ahmad Nurzaman Fahlesa.

This interactive communication program between traffic officers and the public aims to provide applicants with an understanding of the excellent, humane, and responsive service provided by the registration department, specifically regarding the administration of vehicle and driver’s licenses.

In her official statement, Kompol Pipit Witianingsih stated that the ‘Polantas Menyapa’ program is an educational communication program to increase public understanding of the driver’s license renewal mechanism and the importance of orderly vehicle administration.

“Through this program, we are present among the community to provide education so that they understand the official SIM renewal procedures and are not tempted by unofficial services. Our two-way interactive communication also aims to make it easier for the public to receive information and provide input,” explained Kompol Pipit.

The implementation of the ‘Polantas Menyapa’ program at the Simling locations has received a positive response from the public. During the SIM renewal process, applicants can also receive direct information from officers about the procedures and regulations for SIM services.

Undeniably, through this program, the Sub-Directorate of Regident of the Polda West Java Ditlantas has proven its ability to build rapport with the community and communicate directly to provide education. And the community directly involved in this program now has a clearer understanding of SIM renewal procedures.
