“This step is not simply a release of personnel. It also demonstrates our commitment to improving and enhancing the Polri’s public services to increase public trust,” said Kapolda Nanang in his speech.
He also conveyed that the presence of the Pamapta is an important part of the Kapolri’s policy of adjusting the nomenclature from SPKT to Pamapta, as stipulated in Decree No. 1438/IX/2025.

Regarding the Pamapta personnel specifically, Kapolda Nanang also requested that this assignment serve as a demonstration of the Polri’s commitment and professionalism in improving public services.

“Pamapta personnel must always conduct dialogue patrols and position themselves as protectors, guardians, and servants of the community. Meanwhile, as frontline negotiators, they must also prioritize a humanistic approach to defuse and mitigate any sparks of social conflict,” Kapolda Nanang firmly reminded.
“Also, always involve female police officers as frontline negotiators in efforts to calm any potential social conflict,” he added.
Furthermore, Kapolda Nanang urged Pamapta personnel to continue promoting the 110 complaint service to the public so that it becomes more widely known and can be optimally utilized to maintain public order and security.
Finally, he urged all Pamapta personnel to carry out their duties with high integrity and to make serving the community a moral and professional calling.
“May Allah SWT always provide guidance and protection to all of us in carrying out our duties of service to the nation and state,” he said offering his prayer.
In closing his speech, Kapolda Nanang also reminded the public that the reward and punishment system must be consistently implemented as a means of evaluating the performance of Polri personnel. Furthermore, as an institution, Polri is required to be adaptive and take rapid, tangible, and sustainable steps to improve public trust.
“Polri must always be close to and in the hearts of the people. And it is our duty as Polri members to serve, protect, and nurture the community. Always remember that while on duty,” concluded Kapolda Nanang. (Bembo)
