progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The movements of Fadel Nazril (FN), the student who committed the bombing at SMAN 72 in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, on the day of the explosion on Friday (7/11), were captured on CCTV. Fazril’s movements were captured on CCTV from his arrival at school until just before Friday prayers.

The chronology of Nazril’s movements was explained by the Director of Cyber Crime, Kombes Pol Roberto Gomgom Manorang Pasaribu, during a press conference at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police headquarters on Tuesday, (11/11) yesterday.

He said, the CCTV footage showed several moments showing the perpetrator, Nazril, arriving at school wearing a red backpack, removing his uniform, and holding a toy firearm.

6:28 a.m. – Arriving at school

The perpetrator, Nazril, arrived at school at 6:28 a.m. He was seen carrying a red bag and a blue bag. The CCTV clock was set forward one hour, to 7:28 a.m.

The perpetrator, Nazril, who is a child of legal interest, was recorded entering the gates of SMAN 72 Jakarta wearing his school uniform and carrying a red backpack. He was holding a blue bag in his left hand. Wearing black shoes, he then walked to the left of the camera.

At the same time, the perpetrator, Nazril, headed towards the principal’s office corridor and encountered a woman suspected to be the school teacher.

1:43 a.m.- Heading to the mosque

The perpetrator, Nazril, was again caught on camera just before Friday prayers, at 11:43 a.m., heading towards the mosque carrying a red backpack.

“While crossing the first-floor east corridor, as captured by Channel 30, the child was seen wearing a red backpack, barefoot, and wearing outer pants. It was 11:43 a.m. in real time, meaning it was close to prayer time,” explained Kombes Pol Roberto.

“Then, inside, we saw black pants peeking out, or a little visible from the outside. He was moving toward the mosque’s prayer area. The starting point, when we entered Channel 06 in front of the mosque, became Channel A06 in front of the mosque. It turns out there was only one CCTV camera covering it. The child entered the mosque wearing a school uniform and carrying a red backpack,” he added.

Furthermore, based on CCTV footage, the child was monitoring the situation outside and inside the mosque.

“So, at that time, the child was caught on camera just standing watching near the pillar. He was still covered by the camera. At 12:44, or 11:44 in real time, still on Channel 30, the child was seen entering the front door of the mosque. This was no longer covered at that time,” Kombes Pol Roberto said.

12:05 p.m. – Taking off his uniform and holding a toy gun

At 12:05 p.m, the student, Nazril, was caught on camera removing his uniform. He was reportedly wearing black pants and a white shirt and heading towards the mosque while holding a toy gun.

The student then pointed the toy gun at the mosque. Shortly after, a red light and white smoke were observed following the student’s actions.

“At 12:05:51 in real time, Channel 06 recorded a red light emerging from inside the mosque, accompanied by an explosion that emitted white smoke,” Kombes Pol Roberto explained further. (Bembo)
