progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Polda Metro Jaya again conducted large-scale patrols (PSB) to maintain public order and security (Kamtibmas) in the Jakarta jurisdiction. The PSB activities were carried out on Thursday (30/10) evening, targeting two areas, Central Jakarta and South Jakarta.

Head of the Pamwal Unit at the Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Directorate, AKBP Yudi Wahyu Dinarto who led the PSB last night, stated that the implementation of the activities, which involved 50 personnel, was a precautionary measure against potential nighttime security disturbances and to provide a sense of security to the public.

“The Polda Metro Jaya are implementing the nighttime PSB with the aim of maintaining a conducive Kamtibmas situation. The patrol routes tonight are heading through Central Jakarta and South Jakarta,” said AKBP Yudi Wahyu Dinarto.

During the implementation, the deployed personnel moved around several vulnerable areas, such as office areas, busy centers, and the capital’s main roads. This initiative is expected to reduce crime and nighttime insecurity.

Routine PSB activities are part of the Polda Metro Jaya efforts to increase police presence in the community. They also aim to create a safe and orderly environment in Jakarta ahead of the weekend. That’s a smart job, Commander. (Bembo)
