progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Kapolres Metro of the Central Jakarta, Kombes Pol Susatyo Purnomo Condro, inaugurated the 6th ‘Ojol Mart’ outlet at the Mangga Dua Selatan Sub-Sector Police Station, Sawah Besar, on Friday, (10/31) afternoon. This inauguration also serves as part of monitoring and security efforts, as well as a token of appreciation for the contributions of online motorcycle taxi (ojol) drivers in Central Jakarta.

The inauguration, which began at 1:13 PM, began with remarks from Mr. Anto, a representative of the online motorcycle taxi drivers. He expressed his gratitude for the ‘Ojol Mart’ facility. He hopes this outlet can serve as a place to share and support coordination between drivers and the police.

“Thank you to the Kapolrestro, Wakapolrestro, and Kapolsek of the Sawah Besar. I hope this ‘Ojol Mart’ can help us, the ojol drivers in the Sawah Besar area, as a place to share our concerns and support the police’s duties,” said Mr. Anto.

Meanwhile, the Kapolres Metro of the Central Jakarta, Kombes Pol Susatyo Purnomo Condro in his remarks emphasized the importance of police innovation in maintaining security and order, while also supporting the economy of ojol drivers.

“Greetings to all ojol drivers. I know your work isn’t easy. Sometimes it’s raining, hot, and the risks on the road are high. This ‘Ojol Mart’ is not just a store, but also a place where you feel heard, share stories, and support your well-being. I hope this sixth store will be the starting point so that more ojol drivers in Central Jakarta can benefit,” said Kapolrestro Susatyo.

“We at the police always want to be close to the community, including motorcycle taxi drivers. If you have any difficulties or ideas, don’t hesitate to come to ‘Ojol Mart’. Let’s work together to maintain security, comfort, and togetherness in Central Jakarta,” he added.

The inauguration ceremony then began with a prayer session. The symbolic opening of the store continued at 1:27 PM WIB, concluding with a group photo session.

The event also included a social activity, distributing rice and aid to motorcycle taxi drivers, motorcycle taxi base, PPSU (public service personnel), and orphans. A total of 70 motorcycle taxi drivers, 10 motorcycle taxi base, 10 PPSU, and 10 orphans received the assistance, which served as a symbol of the Polri’s social concern for the community.

Also present at the inauguration were Wakapolres Metro of the Central Jakarta, AKBP Budi Prasetya, Kapolsek of the Sawah Besar, Kompol Rahmat Himawan; the Commander of the Sawah Besar Military District (Danramil), the Head of the Sawah Besar Sub-district; and hundreds of motorcycle taxi drivers and motorcycle taxi base.
