Head of the Korlantas e Polri, Irjen Pol Agus Suryonugroho.

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Friends at the local hangout have said that the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri) never stops making breakthroughs. Really? Yes, the answer is. That’s true, not a hoax. One recent example is the reform related to Samsat services and management. This step is also a response to the proposal to immediately reform Samsat management, echoed by the Director General of Regional Financial Development at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Teguh Narutomo.

The Head of the Korlantas Polri, Irjen Pol Agus Suryonugroho in his statement regarding this matter stated, that technically the breakthrough to reform Samsat (Services and Public Order Agency) management will be implemented proportionally and comprehensively. This technique was based on analytical calculations and the belief that there will soon be significant improvements, both in terms of the quality of public services and regional revenue.

“Of course, we want to ensure that every policy step we take is truly beneficial, bringing benefits to the community and the region,” said Irjen Pol Agus during the Korlantas Polri’s Working Meeting on Wednesday, (12/11) yerterday.

He also stated, that the Samsat will be a concrete example of the success of the Polri’s reforms in public services. This tangible evidence of success has directly impacted the regional economy. Amazing.

The Director of the Registration and Identification (Regident) Korlantas Polri, Brigjen Pol Wibowo, on a separate occasion stated that now is indeed the moment for the Polri Traffic Unit to make significant breakthroughs in reform in the digital era.

These breakthroughs are driven by a spirit that resonates with the Polri’s transformation into a modern, integrity-driven, and service-oriented organization. It’s like enjoying the same chords as the legendary British band The Beatles, ‘Tomorrow Never Knows’ and ‘Within You Without You’.

“We continue to explore digital innovation as an adaptive breakthrough in the digitalization era. For example, we are developing a data-based service application, an inter-agency data integration system, and the digitization of vehicle documents. This is also our effort to upgrade the quality of public services so that the public can experience the convenience and speed of the Polri services we offer,” explained Brigjen Pol Wibowo offering confidence.

For further information, the Director General of Regional Financial Development at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Teguh Narutomo, previously emphasized the importance of reforming the Samsat governance. Teguh analyzed that this reform is a strategic step to improve the delivery of public services. One way to achieve this is through comprehensive updates to the service system and data management.

“We must all acknowledge that data synchronization between agencies has not been optimal to date. Therefore, now is the time to reform the Samsat governance. The goal is to make public services more efficient and ensure that the policies issued are 100% pro-people,” he said.

Furthermore, Teguh continued, the reforms implemented within the Samsat must also be directed towards a transparent, effective, and accountable system. This way, the spirit of these changes will directly lead to increased regional revenue (PAD). A qualified governance system is indeed desired by many. (Bembo)
