The ‘Bang Jasri’ (Bhayangkara Jakarta ASRI) cleanup activity in the Sungai Bambu Toll underpass area, North Jakarta, led directly by Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri.

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – As a manifestation of his commitment to providing a clean and orderly environment in Jakarta, Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri personally led a clean-up activity with the ‘Bang Jasri’ ASRI Task Force (Bhayangkara Jakarta ASRI) at the Sungai Bambu Toll Road underpass in North Jakarta on Thursday, February 19, 2026.

A total of 650 personnel participated in the activity. They included representatives from local government, sub-agency offices, religious leaders, community leaders, media partners, influencers, and Polri personnel. They were seen cleaning up trash and tidying up the area under the toll road, which previously appeared untidy.

In his statement, Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ explained, that this activity was not merely ceremonial but should be cultivated and carried out sustainably.

“This is not a symbolic activity. We want to build a culture of cleanliness starting from the immediate environment. If the environment is clean, the community will also feel comfortable,” he explained at the location.

This program, he continued, is also in line with President Prabowo Subianto’s directive regarding the importance of community service and building a culture of cleanliness. Furthermore, Kapolri Jenderal Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo also emphasized that the ASRI movement must be realized through concrete actions, not just slogans.

Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ emphasized, that the ‘Bang Jasri’ activities will be carried out regularly and will target various locations within the jurisdiction of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police. He hopes that after the cleanup, all elements of society will participate in maintaining cleanliness to make Jakarta even more beautiful and comfortable. (Bembo)
