progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – A wing box truck was involved in a single-vehicle accident on Jalan Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta, on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. The truck reportedly hit a road divider, directly in front of the Denpasar Busway Stop heading towards Pancoran, Cawang, East Jakarta.
The Head of the Sub-Directorate of Law Enforcement at the Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Directorate, AKBP Ojo Ruslani, confirmed the accident when contacted.
“The vehicle was blocking part of the road. The incident, which occurred at Kilometer 6+600, involved a truck with license plate number B 9840 UEW. The truck reportedly hit a road divider, causing the vehicle to block part of the road,” said AKBP Ojo.
The lengthy vehicle evacuation process resulted in congested traffic on Jalan Raya Gatot Subroto heading towards Cawang.
Despite the traffic buildup, motorists were still able to navigate the route by crossing the remaining lane. Police and other relevant agencies worked extra hard to regulate traffic flow to ease the congestion. (Bembo)
