Four Fake Plates and Two Sharp Weapons Allegedly Cause HM’s Reckless Boy Racer Style

Evidence: Four fake license plates and a sharp weapon found in the black Calya car driven by HM.

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – HM’s (25) reckless boy racer style, which involved driving a black Toyota Calya against the traffic and crashing into several vehicles in Gunung Sahari, apparently had several factual reasons. HM was strongly suspected of attempting to flee because the license plate he was driving was fake. He was also carrying three fake license plates and had sharp weapons in the car.

The Director of Traffic for the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Komarudin, stated in his official statement, that the black Calya driven by HM had four different plates, including the one currently in use. His team also found sharp weapons in the car.

“Based on the facts we found, there were four plates found in the car: three pairs plus one used one, making a total of four different plates. Two sharp weapons and one toy firearm were also found in the car,” explained Kombes Pol Komarudin on Thursday, February 26, 2026.

The evidence in question is four pairs of TNKB (National Registration Number) plates with different numbers: two B plates, one G plate, and one D plate. The four plates are B-1235-NIL, B-2932-BZF, G-1877-ZZ, and D-1640-AHB. Two sharp weapons and a toy firearm were also found.

“We are still investigating the purpose of these plates. The Central Jakarta Criminal Investigation Unit is also investigating other findings,” said the three-star Gemini officer, born on June 2, 1975, who also served as the Kapolres Metro of Central Jakarta.

“HM’s behavior is actually unusual given the conditions in Jakarta, where he was driving against the flow. Three roads were cut off by the driver,” he added.

HM is currently a suspect. He is being charged under Article 311 of Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation (LLAJ Law).

“For the traffic violation itself, we are charging the perpetrator under Article 311 paragraphs 1, 2, and 3. Driving a vehicle in a manner that endangers the safety of other road users. Article 3 carries a penalty of up to four years in prison,” he emphasized. (Bembo)
