progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The alleged murder and mutilation case of a man identified as AH, whose body was found in a freezer in Serang Baru, Bekasi Regency, and whose hands and feet were found in the Bogor area, West Java, has been resolved.

Two men suspected of being the perpetrators of the murder were arrested by the Operational Team of the Violent Crimes (Jatanras) Polda Metro Jaya’s Criminal Investigation Directorate at their hiding place in Sindang Panji Village, Cikijing District, Majalengka Regency, West Java, on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. WIB.

The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto, stated in a statement, that the two suspected perpetrators were arrested with the initials DS, alias A, and S.

“Yes, the Sub-Directorate of Jatanras has arrested two suspected perpetrators in this case. Investigators are currently conducting an intensive examination to understand the motive, the construction of the incident, and the roles of each party,” said Kombes Pol Bhudi on Monday, March 30, 2026.

He also explained, that this case is being handled with a focus on scientific crime investigation. Therefore, every stage of the investigation is being carried out carefully, objectively, and based on evidence to ensure the case can be fully disclosed.

Investigations are being conducted regarding the involvement of each perpetrator, including their role during the incident, the sequence of criminal acts, and any alleged attempts to cover up the incident after the incident.

The police are also working intensively to gather evidence. This includes questioning witnesses, examining the perpetrator’s statement, conducting an autopsy on the victim, conducting forensic laboratory examinations, and developing the case in the field.

“We ask the public to give investigators the space to work optimally. All facts will be revealed gradually based on the results of the examination, evidence, and forensic findings. Our commitment is to resolve this case professionally, proportionally, and accountably,” said Kombes Pol Bhudi.

Based on video footage obtained by media crews, the two perpetrators were seen being escorted by investigators. One of the perpetrators, wearing a blue shirt, was being led into a car. The location of the arrest was seen in a rice field area. (Bembo)
