Kapolres Metro of Bekasi, Kombes Pol Sumarni, received the Aryasêvā Sammāna Nusantara award from Commission III of the DPR RI as a token of appreciation for successfully resolving the conflict between residents and developers in the Vasana Neo Vasana Harapan Indah Cluster in Bekasi City.

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA — Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) awarded the Kapolres Metro of Bekasi, Kombes Pol Sumarni and his staff for their dedication and performance in overseeing the resolution of the conflict between residents and developers in the Vasana Neo Vasana Harapan Indah Cluster in Bekasi City.

As a token of appreciation, Commission III of the DPR RI also bestowed the Aryasêvā Sammāna Nusantara Award, which is interpreted as a recognition of noble service to Kombes Pol Sumarni.

The award was presented by the Chairman of Commission III of the DPR RI, Dr. Habiburokhman, SH. MH and witnessed by all members of the Commission during the Public Hearing (RDP) and Public Hearing (RDPU) held by Commission III of the DPR RI, also attended by PT Hasana Damai Putra (the developer) and representatives of the residents, on Monday, March 30, 2026.

In the conclusion of the meeting, Commission III of the DPR RI expressed its highest appreciation to Kapolres Metro of Bekasi, Kombes Pol Sumarni and his staff, who were deemed effective in overseeing the amicable peace process between the disputing parties.

Commission III of the DPR RI also assessed that the steps taken by the police, particularly the Polres Metro of Bekasi, proved effective in maintaining a conducive and controlled situation, ultimately reaching a mutually amicable agreement between the residents and the developer.

The success of this mediation demonstrates the Polri’s commitment to serving, protecting, and assisting the community, particularly in resolving disputes humanely and fairly.

Commission III of the DPR RI also commended the peace agreement reached between the residents and the developer, PT Hasana Damai Putra. This agreement demonstrates that the dialogue and mediation approach overseen by the police can produce constructive and concrete solutions.

Commission III of the DPR RI hopes that the work achieved by Kapolres Metro of Bekasi, Kombes Pol Sumarni, and his staff can serve as an example for other police forces in resolving social conflicts through a dialogue and humane approach to the community. (Bembo)
