progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The raid on a clandestine laboratory, or illegal factory for the production of the illegal drug Zenith Carnophen, or Pill Jin in Wonopolo Village, Mijen, Semarang, Central Java, apparently involved a Polri officer, Bharaka Pradika Mei Dwi Anggu. Two suspects have been arrested, previously reported as three.
This positive statement was made directly by the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto.
“Two people have been arrested. There are eight people on the wanted list and they are still being sought,” Kombes Pol Bhudi told the media on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
He also confirmed, that one of the two suspects arrested is a Polri officer. However, for further details, he stated that the investigation is still ongoing.
“The involvement of the individual is still being investigated,” he added.
As previously narrated, this case began with a joint team from the Polda Metro Jaya’s Narcotics Directorate and the West Jakarta Metropolitan Polres’s Narcotics Unit, which arrested a man who turned out to be a Polri officer, Bharaka Pradika Mei Dwi Anggu, in the Penjaringan area, North Jakarta, on Friday, April 10, 2026. Bharaka Pradika Mei Dwi Anggu was found to be acting as a courier in the area. Evidence confiscated from him was 120.000 Zenith pills, also known as Pills Jin.
“Based on the initial investigation, Bharaka Pradika Mei Dwi Anggu admitted to working as a courier under the control of the main suspect, identified as D, who operated a factory from outside the city,” explained Kombes Pol Bhudi.
Following Bharaka Pradika Mei Dwi Anggu’s arrest, the investigation continued to a second location, Jalan Kertanegara 3, South Semarang, Semarang. Here, another suspect, D, a repeat offender in drug cases, was apprehended, along with evidence of a cell phone and two ATM cards.
Based on the investigation of suspect D, further investigation led to a warehouse in Wonopolo Village, Mijen, Semarang. At this location, a total of 1.855 kilograms of precursors were seized, including 10 barrels of carisoprodol (250 kg), 32 sacks of hisel (730 kg), 26 sacks of talaq (650 kg), 9 barrels of povidone (225 kg), and equipment for producing Zenith pills or Pills Jin.
Zenith Pills or Pills Jin themselves are actually muscle relaxants. However, they are often misused due to their side effects.
The two suspects are currently in custody and charged under Article 610 paragraph (2) and Article 609 paragraph (2) of Law Number 1 of 2023 (New Criminal Code) in conjunction with Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
