progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Feeling slandered, House of Representatives member Surya Utama also known as Uya Kuya filed a police report (LP) with Polda Metro Jaya. Uya filed the report after allegations surfaced that he owns 750 Free Nutritional Meal (MBG) kitchen.

The report registered under Number: LP/B/2746/TV/2026/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA, concerns the spread of false news by several Threads accounts on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Also included as evidence was a photo of Uya that was edited and narrated as owning 750 MBG kitchens.

This report was also confirmed by the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto.

“Yes, that’s right. It’s related to the spread of fake news,” explained Kombes Pol Bhudi to the media on Sunday, April 19, 2026.

The case reported by Uya Kuya, said Kombes Pol Bhudi, is related to Information and Electronic Transaction Crimes under Law Number 1/2024 concerning the Second Amendment to Law Number 11/2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions, as referred to in Article 51 Paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 35 and/or Article 263 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 264 of the Criminal Code.

Meanwhile, Uya Kuya told the media, that he filed the report because he felt he had been wronged. The information conveyed and disseminated on social media was a hoax to sway public opinion negatively against him.

“The looting of my house was also due to the widespread circulation of hoax videos. Many of my old TikTok videos had captions that made them appear to be my statements. Even though i never said anything at the time,” Uya said.

He also admitted to being confused about the origin of the accusation that he owns 750 MBG kitchens. He doesn’t own a single one.

“Honestly, i’m confused about where the story about me owning MBG kitchens comes from. Because to this day, i don’t own a single MBG kitchen. Except for the kitchen at my restaurant in Benhil called Asli Rasa,” he explained further.
