progresifjaya.co.id, PELABUHAN RATU – The Pelabuhan Ratu SIM Administration Unit (Satpas) and the Cibadak and Pelabuhan Ratu One-Stop Administration System (Samsat) of the Polres of Sukabumi continue to demonstrate their commitment to providing the best service to the public applying for driver’s licenses (SIM) and paying motor vehicle registration fees.

Under the leadership of AKP Abdurrohman Hidayat as Head of the Polres of Sukabumi Traffic Unit and Ipda Hari Fajar as Head of the Registration Unit of the Polres of Sukabumi Traffic Unit, the Palabuhanratu Satpas, Samsat, and Cibadak Samsat have proven their ability to be living examples of efficient, transparent, and friendly public service.

Their inspiring leadership style and passionate commitment to serving the public have truly made the Cibadak Samsat, Satpas, and Palabuhanratu Samsat of the Polres of Sukabumi a symbol of quality public service.

The “Polantas Menyapa” program, launched by the Polri Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri), continues to be promoted. This program continues to be accelerated with the hope that public services, particularly at the Cibadak and Palabuhanratu Samsat locations, as well as the Palabuhanratu Satpas, will continue to improve over time.

As seen on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the Cibadak and Palabuhanratu Samsat locations, the program’s promotion has clearly made it easier for residents to process motor vehicle administration. This includes STNK (vehicle registration) renewals, BPKB (vehicle registration) processing, and document consultation services.

Officers interact directly with the public using a friendly and humane approach. Residents receive step-by-step guidance, ensuring a faster, clearer, and smoother process.

The service atmosphere also feels more intimate. Officers not only hand over the required documents but also provide simple explanations of applicable procedures and regulations.

A similar approach is evident at the Palabuhanratu Satpas. The service process is well-organized, from registration and photo-taking to the theory and practical exams.  Applicants feel facilitated and respected at every step.

Several residents who applied for their driver’s licenses at the Palabuhanratu Satpas provided positive testimonials. They stated that the service was fast, easy, and friendly. They also noted that they received a comfortable service location.

The Head of the Registration and Identification Unit of the Polres if Sukabumi Traffic Unit, Ipda Hari Fajar, stated in a statement as cited by the author of the korlantas.polri.go.id website, that the “Polantas Menyapa” program is part of the Polri’s transformation to improve the quality of public services.

“We want the public to feel comfortable, well-served, and receive legal certainty in every administrative process,” said Ipda Hari.

He added, that the approach taken by Samsat and Satpas officers is not only focused on speed of service but also on building rapport with the community through transparent and accountable service.

This direct interaction is also used as an educational tool to increase traffic awareness and discipline.

“The Polres of Sukabumi Traffic Unit is committed to continuously providing innovative services that make things easier for the public. We also ensure that every service runs according to procedures for the comfort and satisfaction of our residents,” emphasized Ipda Hari.
