progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Kapolri, Jenderal Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo received the Adhi Bhakti Senapati Medal from the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. This award recognizes Kapolri Listyo Sigit’s dedication and contributions to security and defense, particularly in strengthening cross-agency collaboration in cyberspace.
Regarding the award, the Kapolri stated, that the Adhi Bhakti Senapati award is a significant moment that further encourages him to enhance collaboration between the Polri and various parties, including the BSSN. This step is also in line with the President’s directive, which emphasizes the importance of unity and synergy in facing various threats to the nation and state.
“For me, this is an extraordinary award. It motivates us all to continue improving collaboration and synergy. Moreover, the President has stated that we must unite in facing various challenges,” he said.
According to the Kapolri, cyber threats are one of the biggest challenges going forward. Therefore, strategic steps are needed, including improving digital literacy, strengthening human resource quality, developing a reliable security system, and enforcing the law against cybercriminals.
“We must work together to safeguard cyberspace, starting with literacy, strengthening human resources, developing a security system, and enforcing the law against cybercriminals,” he emphasized.
Furthermore, the Kapolri emphasized the importance of synergy between the Polri, the BSSN, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), and all stakeholders to safeguard national sovereignty, both in terms of cybersecurity and defense.
“Collaboration and synergy are the keys to success in maintaining sovereignty in the security sector,” he concluded.
