Supporting Food Security, the Polda Metro Ditpolairud Releases 10.000 Milkfish Fingerlings in Muaragembong

The release of 10.000 milkfish fingerlings by the Polda Metro Jaya’s JakWater Police (Polda Metro Jaya) on the coast of Pantai Harapan Jaya Village, Muaragembong District, Bekasi Regency.
progresifjaya.co.id, BEKASI – The Polda Metro Jaya’s Water and Air Police Directorate (Ditpolairud) released thousands of milkfish fingerlings along the coast of Pantai Harapan Jaya Village, Muaragembong District, Bekasi Regency. This distribution activity was carried out to support strengthening food security and the supply chain ecosystem for raw materials needed by the Polda Metro Jaya’s Food and Agriculture Service (SPPG).
The distribution took place in Block 2 of the food security land, which has been prepared for food sector development. A total of 10.000 milkfish fingerlings were released.
The distribution of the 10.000 milkfish fingerlings was carried out by the Bhabinkamtibmas (Community Police) of the Bakti Coastal Water and Air Police, Aipda Rino Effendi, and a member of the Muara Bendera Water and Air Patrol Unit Headquarters, Aipda Imron Rosyadi.
In a statement, the Director of the Water and Air Police of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Mustofa stated, that the release of milkfish fingerlings is a concrete step by the Polri to provide a program that benefits the community, especially in coastal areas.
“This is part of our efforts to support food security. The Polri are present not only to maintain security, but also to promote productive and beneficial programs for the community,” explained Kombes Pol Mustofa on Monday, May 11, 2026.
He hopes,bthat the released milkfish fingerlings will grow optimally and benefit the surrounding community. He also emphasized that the Water and Air Police of Polda Metro Jaya will continue to support food security programs through a humanistic, productive, and community-focused approach.
“Hopefully, this program will develop well and support food needs. It will also be part of a joint effort to maintain food security in coastal areas,” he said hopefully.
