In his statement, the Head of the Registration and Identification Unit of the Polres of Kuningan, Iptu Budi Hadiawan explained, that in line with the Precision Traffic Police dogma, all personnel at the Polres of Kuningan Traffic Police continue to strive to accelerate the process of self-transformation. A fast, on-time, and transparent work pattern continues to be cultivated as a work tradition.
“The Precision Traffic Police dogma always echoes the 5S principle as a work culture. Smiles, greetings, salutations, politeness, and courtesy must flow smoothly in our blood when serving the public,” explained Iptu Budi on Monday, May 25, 2026.
“That’s the pattern we adopt when serving the public, whether they are driver’s license applicants or taxpayers, with excellent service standards,” he added.
He also stated, that the work culture of the Polres of Kuningan Traffic Police personnel is strongly inspired and motivated by the Kuningan folk legend of the Windu Horse. The Windu Horse was the mount of Adipati Ewangga, a Senopati (Warlord) from Kuningan, whose exploits are recorded in several ancient Cirebon manuscripts.
The Windu Horse is also known as a white warhorse that is extremely tough, agile, and possesses incredible speed. Its legend is so legendary that it has been immortalized as the icon and official symbol of Kuningan Regency, West Java.
“Despite its small stature, its extraordinary agility and speed motivate us to work to serve and satisfy the public. Leutik-leutik Kuda Windu is a popular phrase in Kuningan Regency,” said Iptu Budi.
