progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The execution of the Hotel Sultan in Central Jakarta by the Central Jakarta District Court to be handed over to the government was completed today, Thursday, June 18, 2026. Regarding the next steps, Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), Sufmi Dasco Ahmad stated, that he would coordinate with the Ministry of State Secretariat (Kemensetneg) to discuss the fate of Hotel Sultan employees.

“I will coordinate with the Ministry of State Secretariat regarding the future fate of Hotel Sultan employees,” said Sufmi Dasco at the parliamentary complex in Senayan, Jakarta, on Thursday, June 18, 2026.

He also explained, that although the management of Hotel Sultan will be under the Ministry of State Secretariat, this does not preclude the workers who have depended on the hotel for their livelihoods.

“If we ask about the fate of the Sultan Hotel employees, of course we hope that the management, which will be carried out by the Ministry of State Secretariat, will continue to provide accommodation for the employees who have worked there. That’s the point,” said Sufmi Dasco.

As is known, the Central Jakarta District Court officially handed over the land and 15 buildings of the Sultan Hotel to the applicant, the government. The handover took place after the execution process was completed.

The handover was represented by the clerk of the Central Jakarta District Court, Ahyar Parmika, who read out Minutes No. 1 of the Civil Execution/2006/Central Jakarta District Court in case No. 208/Pdt.G/2025/Central Jakarta District Court.

The minutes stated, that the Central Jakarta District Court had successfully taken control of two plots of land, former Building Use Rights (HGB) No. 26/Gelora, totaling 53.709 square meters, and former HGB No. 27/Gelora, totaling 83.666 square meters.

“The 15 buildings located on former HGB No. 26/Gelora and former HGB No. 27/Gelora include: Main Tower, Garden Tower, Lagoon Tower, Apartment Tower 1, Apartment Tower 2, Golden Ballroom, Kudus Hall, Nippon Resto, Homestay, Lagoon Garden, Qi Lounge, Tennis Court, Libra Garden, Fitness Center, and Coffee Shop,” explained Ahyar while reading the minutes of the execution at the location today.
