progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Kapolda Metro Jaya, Komjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri stated, that investigators from the Polda Metro Jaya’s Criminal Investigation Directorate Sub-Directorate Violent Crimes (Jatanras) have successfully uncovered a pornography crime scheme on the HOT51 electronic application system. The HOT51 application is an electronic system that provides gambling and pornography live streaming services.

In a press conference at Polda Metro Jaya Headquarters, Jakarta, Friday, June 26, 2026, Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ detailed how this crime syndicate reaped and profited financially from the exploitation of erotic content.

“Investigation results indicate the app is suspected of being used for gambling and live broadcasts containing pornography,” said Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’, who was accompanied by Wakapolda, Brigjen Pol Dekananto, Director of Criminal Investigations, Kombes Pol Iman Imanuddin, Head of Public Relations, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto, and Director of Narcotics Investigation, Kombes Pol Ahmad David.

Meanwhile, Kombes Pol Iman continued to explain the case in more detail. He said, the modus operandi for this pornography crime was carried out through the live streaming feature within the HOT51 app. Viewers who watched the erotic broadcasts would pay the female hosts performing in the scenes with virtual gifts.

To pay or make deposits to purchase these gifts, the syndicate tricked the national banking system using a virtual account managed by the PT PDN Payment Gateway, a virtual account from PT HSR, and a company account in the name of PT KAJP.

“The financial profits collected from viewers’ virtual gift offerings didn’t stop within the app. The proceeds from these pornography crimes were then converted into cash through payment gateway companies and shell company accounts,” said Kombes Pol Iman.

“The virtual account facilities of these Payment Gateway companies were deliberately misused to accommodate and disguise the flow of illicit funds,” he added.

The Polda Metro Jaya’s Jatanras has successfully uncovered the process of monetizing pornography crimes using the HOT 51 application.

After being converted into cash, Kombes Pol Iman continued, the illicit funds from pornography crimes were distributed in a structured manner as tiered commissions to a network of agents in the field. The distribution of these commissions spanned four levels of the agency hierarchy.

In this case, perpetrator OV was arrested in North Aceh. He acted as the Master Agent. OV was tasked with recruiting hosts, agents, and Super Agents, managing the distribution of salaries/commissions, and was the direct recipient of the proceeds from the Payment Gateway company account.

Meanwhile, perpetrator RM was arrested in Gresik, East Java. He acted as a Super Agent. RM was also tasked with recruiting hosts and agents, promoting the app on social media, and managing the distribution of salaries and commissions to the agents and hosts under him.

The third perpetrator, BF, was arrested in West Jakarta. He acted as an Agent. BF was tasked with recruiting hosts, promoting the app on social media, and managing the distribution of salaries and commissions directly to the hosts.

The fourth perpetrator, WS, was arrested in Ngawi, East Java. WS acted directly as a host for the HOT51 app, employed to show pornographic scenes to attract viewers’ gifts.

The remaining massive profits, deducted from the commission distribution turnover of the gambling and pornography agency network on the ground, were then funneled upwards.

“This illicit fund flow scheme ultimately led to a syndicate of foreign nationals from China as the intellectual actors, funding initiators, and primary controllers (beneficial owners). Among them are XR, who was arrested in Lumajang, and XB, who remains at large,” concluded Kombes Pol Iman.
