In this case, former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah and Don Ritto have been named suspects by the Corruption Eradication Commission (Kortastipikor) of the Polri. The suspect status came shortly after Febrie resigned from Jampidsus.
Febrie is a suspect in three major alleged corruption cases: coal, ASABRI, and Krakatau Steel (KS). The case has now been handed over to the Attorney General’s Office (AGO), and is being supervised by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and overseen by Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) through the formation of a working committee (Panja).
However, Febrie’s status as a suspect hasn’t resulted in his detention, at least as of today. Unlike suspect Don Ritto, who is already languishing in the Polda Metro Jaya detention center.
