The perpetrators of the ATM jamming at Buah Hati Hospital, Pamulang, Tangsel are now tied up.

progresifjaya.co.id, SOUTH TANGERANG – Residents caught an attempted ATM jamming theft at Buah Hati Hospital in Pamulang, South Tangerang (Tangsel). In a circulating video, the perpetrators attempted to flee, chased by residents. Residents were also seen kicking the perpetrators, causing them to fall.

In another video, the perpetrators were seen tied up after being apprehended. They were then taken into police custody.

Kapolres of Tangsel, AKBP Boy Jumalolo confirmed, that three perpetrators were caught jamming the ATM.

“So there were three perpetrators at the ATM booth at Buah Hati Hospital in Pamulang. They were the perpetrators who jammed the three ATMs,” said AKBP Boy Jumalolo on Thursday, July 30, 2026.

One ATM machine was also damaged by the perpetrators. The Polres of Tangsel are currently investigating.

“They damaged one ATM and jammed two. That was their modus operandi. They tried to escape, but were quickly met with firm and measured action by the residents,” said AKBP Boy Jumalolo.
