progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – West Jakarta Mayor, Iin Mutmainnah officially earned a Doctorate in Government Science and was named the Top Graduate at the IPDN Graduation Ceremony at the Jatinangor Campus on Sunday, July 26, 2026.

Iin Mutmainnah earned her doctorate with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3,951 (Cum Laude).

Her dissertation examines the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in governance, entitled “Artificial Intelligence-Based Collaborative Governance for Poverty Alleviation in DKI Jakarta Province.”

The award for the best graduate of the doctoral program was presented directly by the Minister of Home Affairs, Tito Karnavian, at a graduation ceremony that saw a total of 1.404 students from various educational levels graduate.

Dr. Iin Mutmainnah, S.Sos., M.Si., has a strong educational background and a long track record of over 30 years of civil service experience within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.

Her track record in civil service is quite comprehensive. From the lowest levels (staff, village head, sub-district head, to mayor), she has become a role model in realizing a flexible, fast, and straightforward Jakarta bureaucracy.

Her journey began at the lowest level of regional government. She served as Village Secretary in the early 2000s, then rose to become Deputy Village Head. and Village Head, including leading Munjul Village.

Her career continued until she was appointed Head of Cipayung District, a strategic position that requires strong field leadership and managerial skills. This extensive experience led Iin to important positions within the Jakarta Provincial Government.

She held positions in regional bureaus and organizations, including serving as Head of the Empowerment, Child Protection, and Population Control Agency (PPAPP). This track record later became the basis for the trust of regional leaders in appointing her to administrative city positions.

While serving as Acting Mayor of East Jakarta, she successfully led her staff to receive the most awards for Public Information Transparency in Jakarta (covering the city, 8 sub-districts, and 38 urban villages).

In addition to her doctoral success, Iin Mutmainnah also made history as the first woman to be entrusted with the mandate of Mayor of West Jakarta since its formation.

As the leader of West Jakarta, she is known for her ambitious vision: to create an inclusive, safe, and friendly city. Family-oriented and focused on improving the quality of public services. She also emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government, the community, and stakeholders.

And as Srikandi of West Jakarta, she has also been recognized for her success in driving urban agriculture programs. This was demonstrated by leading the massive harvest of local food commodities at the Mini Food Estate Kembangan.

Iin Mutmainah officially became the Administrative Mayor of West Jakarta on December 17, 2025. She was inaugurated by Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo, replacing Uus Kuswanto.
