Polda Metro Jaya Director of General Criminal Investigation, Kombes Pol Iman Imanudin stated, that the six suspects admitted to investigators that they had committed robberies three times across East Jakarta, Bekasi Regency, and Bekasi City.

“We have apprehended the six violent robbery suspects and detained them at the Polda Metro Jaya detention center. So, for the time being, the situation is secure,” said Kombes Pol Imanudin to reporters at the Polda Metro Jaya Headquarters on Monday, August 10, 2026.

He explained, that the gang members divided roles during their operations, some scouted the situation inside the bank, others carried out the actual robbery, and some identified the victims. During their most recent heist, they even injured a victim and made off with Rp30 million in cash.
