Crystal Meth and Ecstasy Dealer Initials TE Arrested by Polres Metro of West Jakarta Narcotics Unit in Kalideres

The suspected drug dealer, identified by the initials TE, undergoing questioning by officers.

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Narcotics Investigation Unit of the Polres Metro of West Jakarta arrested a drug dealer identified by the initials TE. He was apprehended in the Green Royal Condo House area on Jalan H. Aseni Raya, Semanan Urban Village, Kalideres District, West Jakarta, on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

Authorities seized drug evidence from TE, consisting of crystal methamphetamine with a total gross weight of approximately 1.193 grams, 4.137 ecstasy pills, ecstasy fragments weighing approximately 228 grams, and 227 grams of marijuana.

In addition to the narcotics, officers seized three digital scales, Chinese tea packaging suspected of having been used to store crystal meth, a sales logbook, four mobile phones, and a black bag.

Kapolres Metro of West Jakarta, Kombes Pol Nasriadi explained, that TE’s arrest stemmed from public information received by the police regarding suspected illicit drug trafficking activities in the Kalideres area.

Acting on this information, the team conducted an investigation and determined that the target was located at the Green Royal Condo House in Semanan.

“After verification and investigation, the team obtained information that the target was at that location. Upon arrival, officers spotted an individual matching the description provided and proceeded to detain and search him,” said Kombes Pol Nasriadi when confirmed by the media on Friday, September 4, 2026.

Apart from the drugs, 831 Malaysian Ringgit in cash was also found inside the suspect’s bag.

During the initial interrogation, the suspect admitted to obtaining the crystal meth and ecstasy from a man known by the initials A. A is currently listed as a wanted person (DPO). 

β€œThe suspect admitted to obtaining the narcotics from an individual identified as A, who is currently being pursued. The transaction involved an in-person meeting, with payment made via bank transfer,” explained AKBP Vernal A. Sambo, Head of the Narcotics Investigation Unit at the Polres Metro of West Jakarta.

TE, along with all seized evidence, is currently being detained at the Polres Metro of West Jakarta Narcotics Investigation Unit pending further investigation.

He has been charged under Article 114 paragraph (2) of Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, which carries a penalty ranging from a minimum of six years to a maximum of twenty years in prison. (Bembo)
