progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Despite a strong start to the season that sees them currently sitting atop the BRI Super League 2026/2027 standings, Dewa United FC coach Osmar Loss has urged his squad not to focus on the Super League title just yet. The team still has a long road ahead, with the season running through Week 34.
Osmar Loss acknowledged that Dewa United FC has enjoyed a promising start, securing three wins and a draw to claim the top spot in the standings.
However, he emphasized that this is no guarantee they will remain in first place until the end of the season. Therefore, Dewa United FC must maintain their focus on a match-by-match basis.
“Our goal is to maintain our performance and secure points in the upcoming matches,” said Osmar.
Dewa United FC is currently on a break during the FIFA Matchday window spanning September and October 2026.
Following the break, Dewa United FC will face defending champions Persib Bandung at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium in Bandung on October 11.
Consequently, he hinted at implementing a new strategy to hold onto their position at the top of the table, especially given the ample time available to analyze their opponents’ tactics.
“Our philosophy is to take it one match at a time and deliver our best performance. If we can keep winning, we will stay at the top,” he explained.
Currently, Dewa United FC sits in first place with 10 points from four matches. (Bembo)
