TKJ Students from SMK Sumpiuh, Central Java, Visit the National Traffic Management Center (NTMC) of the Korlantas Polri

Students from the Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) program at SMK Muhammadiyah Sumpiuh, Central Java, visit the National Traffic Management Center (NTMC) building of the Korlantas Polri.
progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Korlantas Polri hosted a visit by students from SMK Muhammadiyah Sumpiuh, Central Java, at the National Traffic Management Center (NTMC) building in Jakarta on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.
The students were introduced to the NTMC, CCTV monitoring operations, and the use of technology to support police duties and provide traffic information to the public.
The activity was attended by students majoring in Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ).
The students had the opportunity to witness firsthand the application of information technology and networking in supporting police operations, particularly in the traffic sector.
Khusnul Khotimah, an accompanying teacher from SMK Muhammadiyah Sumpiuh, expressed her appreciation to the Korlantas Polri for providing the students with the opportunity to learn directly at the NTMC.
“We at SMK Muhammadiyah Sumpiuh are very grateful to the NTMC. The students and I were able to gain a great deal of knowledge here, including information on traffic and the technology relevant to our major—computer and network engineering,” she stated, as reported by korlantas.polri.
According to her, the students gained new experiences through their introduction to the CCTV systems, applications, and call center services integrated into the NTMC’s service system.
The system accelerates the transmission of information from various regions, allowing for faster responses to incidents.
“The system is excellent because all data is centralized. When an accident occurs or information comes in from the regions, data can be immediately relayed to the center, ensuring a faster response and resolution,” said Khusnul Khotimah.
In addition to gaining insights into technology, the visit was also intended to raise the students’ awareness regarding traffic safety.
Khusnul Khotimah hopes, that the experience gained during the visit will encourage the students to be more disciplined and mindful of road safety.
“My hope for the students and myself is, first, that we become more disciplined regarding traffic rules and more aware of regulations, so that safety is further improved,” he added. (Bembo)
