The Traffic Unit of the Polres Majalengka launches Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026.

progresifjaya.co.id, MAJALENGKA – The Traffic Unit of the Polres Majalengka under the Polda of West Java has officially launched Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026 The operation will run for 14 days, from Monday, October 26, to Sunday, November 8, 2026.

The operation focuses on enhancing driver discipline, providing traffic safety education, and taking enforcement action against violations that could potentially lead to accidents.

Kapolres Majalengka, AKBP M. Aldy Sulaiman personally led the troop deployment ceremony (Apel Gelar Pasukan) at the Polres Majalengka Headquarters parade ground on Monday, October 26, 2026. The initiative involves personnel from the Polri, the Military Police Sub-detachment (Subdenpom) III/3-5 Majalengka, and the Majalengka Regency Transportation Agency.

In his address, Kapolres Aldy emphasized that the readiness of personnel and equipment is crucial to ensuring the operation is conducted professionally and effectively in the field.

Centered on the theme “Police and the Community Working Together to Create Orderly, Secure, and Safe Traffic,” the operation prioritizes a persuasive and educational approach, alongside enforcement actions against traffic violations.

Key violations targeted for enforcement include failing to wear an SNI-standard (Indonesian National Standard) helmet, driving against the flow of traffic, using a mobile phone while driving, using non-compliant or loud/modified exhausts (brong exhausts), exceeding speed limits, and underage driving.

According to Kapolres Aldy, enforcement efforts must go hand-in-hand with education so that the public gains a better understanding of the importance of road safety. He also urged the people of Majalengka to comply with traffic regulations and to view safety as a necessity, rather than merely an obligation to be met only when authorities are present.

“Make traffic compliance a shared culture—not out of fear of encountering officers, but for the sake of your own safety and that of other road users,” he emphasized.

Through Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026, the Polres Majalengka hope to significantly increase driver awareness, reduce the number of traffic violations, and minimize the risk of traffic accidents. (Bembo)
