The Polres Purwakarta have begun conducting Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026.

progresifjaya.co.id, PURWAKARTA – The Traffic Unit of the Polres Purwakarta officially launched Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026 on Monday, October 26, 2026, with the goal of fostering safe, orderly, and smooth traffic conditions. The operation’s commencement ceremony was led by the Kapolres Purwakarta, AKBP Febri Nurzam, at the Polres Purwakarta headquarters.

The operation will span 14 days, running from Monday, October 26, through Sunday, November 8, 2026.

The primary objective of Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026 is to enhance public discipline and awareness regarding traffic regulations. Through this initiative, authorities aim to reduce the number of traffic violations and cultivate a driving culture that prioritizes safety.

During the operation, officers will focus on various violations deemed hazardous to road users. These include using mobile phones while driving, driving against the flow of traffic, operating a vehicle while underage or without a valid driver’s license (SIM), and failing to wear an SNI-standard (Indonesian National Standard) helmet.

Other areas of enforcement include the use of vehicle exhausts that do not meet technical specifications, driving under the influence of alcohol, improper vehicle license plates, and illegal parking or stopping on road shoulders.

Enforcement will primarily utilize the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) system. Furthermore, officers will prioritize a persuasive approach, offering sympathetic warnings and public education. Manual ticketing will be applied selectively in accordance with existing regulations and will be supervised by Provost personnel.

Kapolres Febri Nurzam also urged the public to view safety as a shared necessity, rather than merely an obligation to avoid legal sanctions. She also emphasized, that adherence to traffic regulations is a fundamental step toward protecting oneself and other road users.

In response to this, the Head of Public Relations for the Polres Purwakarta, Iptu Tini Yutini, urged the public to support the implementation of Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026. This support can be demonstrated by ensuring all vehicle documents are in order, using SNI-certified helmets for motorcyclists, wearing seatbelts for car drivers, and strictly following all traffic signs and road markings.

“Do not use mobile phones while driving, do not drive against the flow of traffic, and do not push yourself if you are tired or sleepy. Be a pioneer for road safety, as a single violation can endanger many others,” said Iptu Tini Yutini.

Through Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026, the Polres Purwakarta hope to foster greater public awareness regarding discipline and responsibility on the road. This initiative is part of the Polri commitment to provide protection, service, and education to the public, with the goal of ensuring safe and orderly traffic and creating a secure West Java.
