Polres Kuningan Intensify Traffic Safety Education via Radio Talk Show During Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026

The Traffic Unit of the Polres Kuningan conducts an interactive dialogue broadcast at the Radio Rasilima 103.2 FM studio in Kuningan.

progresifjaya.co.id, KUNINGAN — The Traffic Unit of the Polres Kuningan (Satlantas Polres Kuningan) continues to ramp up preemptive and educational measures aimed at reducing traffic violations and accidents. One such initiative involved an interactive radio talk show titled “Polisi Bersama Masyarakat” broadcast from the Rasilima 103.2 FM studio in Kuningan on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

Through this interactive dialogue, the Polres Kuningan Traffic Unit actively disseminated safety advisories to the general public as part of the ongoing Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026.

The live broadcast was led by the Head of the Polres Kuningan Traffic Unit, accompanied by key personnel, including the Head of the Traffic Law Enforcement Unit (Kanit Gakkum), the Head of the Traffic Safety Education Unit (Kanit Kamsel), and other officers from the Polres Kuningan Traffic Unit.

The presence of these senior traffic officials was utilized to provide listeners with a comprehensive understanding of the importance of fostering a culture of traffic discipline on the roads.

During the educational segment, several key points were addressed. The primary focus was the dissemination of information regarding Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026, which aims to ensure traffic security, safety, order, and smooth flow—collectively known as kamseltibcarlantas—while also striving to reduce the number of fatalities resulting from traffic accidents within the Polres Kuningan jurisdiction.

Furthermore, the officers outlined the priority targets for law enforcement during the operation. These include the mandatory use of helmets that meet Indonesian National Standards (SNI), adherence to speed limits, prohibitions against driving against the flow of traffic, the ban on using mobile phones while driving, and the requirement for motorists to carry valid vehicle documentation.

Safety for the younger generation was also highlighted as a specific area of concern. The Traffic Unit of the Polres Kuningan has issued a firm advisory to parents, urging them not to allow underage children—who do not meet the legal requirements—to operate motor vehicles on public roads, in order to prevent fatal accidents.

The broadcast became increasingly engaging during the Q&A session. Loyal listeners of Radio Rasilima took the opportunity to call in or send text messages, seeking clarification on traffic regulations and vehicle administrative procedures, as well as inquiring about current traffic conditions in the Kuningan Regency. The police representatives addressed every question in a manner that was approachable, communicative, and educational.

This initiative yielded several positive outcomes, most notably the widespread dissemination of safety messages and information regarding Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026 to the listening public in Kuningan Regency. It also fostered greater legal awareness among the community and established a harmonious, two-way channel of communication—generating positive feedback—between the police force and the public.

Furthermore, this activity strengthened the strategic partnership and solid synergy between the Polres Kuningan and local broadcast media, uniting their efforts to promote road safety for the benefit of all road users. (Bembo)
