Keep It Up, Prime and Precise Service from the Polres of Ciko Satpas and Samsat Satisfies the Public

A prime, precise and humane service atmosphere at the Satpas and Samsat of the Polres of Cirebon City (Ciko) Traffic Unit.

progresifjaya.co.id, CIREBON CITY- The Polres of Cirebon City (Ciko) Traffic Unit continues to strive to improve the quality of its prime and precise service to driver’s license applicants and taxpayers in Cirebon City. This effort and commitment are demonstrated by providing fast, friendly, transparent, and extortion-free service, both at the Driver’s License Administration Unit (Satpas) and the One-Stop Integrated Administration System (Samsat).

Officers at both Satpas and Samsat are actively assisting applicants and taxpayers. At Satpas, the excellent, humane service is evident, from document checking and photo taking to guidance for the theory and practical exams. Each service step is clearly explained to avoid confusion.

Meanwhile, at Samsat, vehicle registration services, including payment of Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB), Ownership Transfer Fee (BBNKB), and Mandatory Road Traffic Accident Fund Contribution (SWDKLLJ), are always guided by officers to avoid going to the wrong counter.  The service time per item is also relatively fast, so taxpayers don’t have to wait.

The Head of the Registration and Identification Unit of the Polres of Ciko Traffic Unit, Ipda Dartam stated in a statement, that
improving service is a top priority for the Polres of Ciko Traffic Unit. Public service optimization is being intensively implemented through updates to the online system for vehicle administration, including new driver’s license (SIM) applications and renewals through a national application, as well as the implementation of a faster and more transparent integrated Samsat service.

A humanistic approach (human-centered traffic) is also being cultivated to transform the image of the traffic police from a repressive approach to an educational and preventative approach. Programs such as “Polantas Menyapa”  are being promoted, along with sympathetic patrols and road safety education.

“We want the public to feel comfortable and valued when they visit Satpas and Samsat. We always use every input from applicants to evaluate and improve,” said Ipda Dartam.

In addition, the Polres of Ciko Satpas and Samsat  also provide a clean waiting room, priority facilities for the elderly and disabled, and a direct complaint channel for any issues during the service process.

A taxpayer named Agus expressed his satisfaction with the service provided.

“The officers were prompt and friendly in providing guidance and processing the application. The process was clear, fast, and straightforward,” he said at the Polres of Ciko Samsat.

Essentially, with the work spirit of “Serving with Heart,” the Polres of Ciko Satpas and Samsat hope that public trust in the Polri will be maintained and further enhanced.
