Kapolri, Jenderal Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo, inaugurates and conducts the handover of five Kapolda’s, the Head of the Polri Education and Training Institute, and the Head of Polri Headquarters Service (Kayanma Polri).

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Kapolri, Jenderal Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo led the inauguration and handover ceremony for five Regional Police Chiefs (Kapolda’s), Head of the Polri Education and Training Institute (Kalemdiklat Polri), and Head of the Polri Headquarters Service (Kayanma Polri). The ceremony was held at the Polri Rupattama Headquaters in Jakarta on Sunday, May 17, 2026.

The five Kapolda’s inaugurated and took over their positions were Irjen Pol Kalingga Rendra Raharja as the Kapolda of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) replacing Irjen Pol Edy Wibowo. Brigjen Pol Himawan Bayu Aji as the Kapolda of Southeast Sulawesi  replacing Irjen Pol Didik Agung Widjanarko who is retiring.

Next was Brigjen Pol Arif Budiman as the Kapolda of North Maluku  replacing Irjen Pol Waris Agono.  Then, Brigjen Pol Nasri was appointed as the Kapolda of Central Sulawesi replacing Irjen Pol Endi Sutendi, and Brigjen Pol Yudhi Sulistianto was appointed as the Kapolda of Bengkulu replacing Irjen Pol Mardiyono.

Meanwhile, the position of Kalemdiklat Polri was handed over from Acting Irjen Pol Andi Rian Djajadi to Komjen Pol R Z Panca Putra. The position of Kayanma Polri was then handed over from Brigjen Pol Abas Basuni to Kombes Pol Yudi Arkara Oktabera.

The Head of the Polri Public Relations Division, Irjen Pol Johnny Eddizon Isir stated in a statement, that job transfers and rotations are part of the organizational dynamics of the Polri for career development and institutional strengthening.

“Job transfers within the Polri institution serve as a form of refreshment and career development for personnel. It is hoped that the newly appointed officials can immediately perform optimally and provide the best service to the public,” Irjen Pol Johnny told reporters.

He added, that the changes in officials within the Polri are also part of the institution’s efforts to continuously improve professionalism, internal solidarity, and the effectiveness of task implementation in various regions.

“With the experience and competence of the officials inaugurated and those who are taking over today, we are optimistic that the organization’s performance will improve and be able to meet the various challenges ahead,” he asserted confidently.
