The Ditpamobvit of the Polda Metro Jaya distributes freshly cooked food aid to residents affected by the fire in the H. Jiung Market area, Kebon Kosong Village, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA — The Directorate of Vital Object Security (Ditpamobvit) of the Polda Metro Jaya distributed ready-to-eat meal packages to residents affected by the fire in the H. Jiung Market area, Kebon Kosong Village, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.

A total of 500 boxes of ready-to-eat meals were distributed to residents in evacuation centers. The aid was prepared through a field kitchen deployed by the Ditpamobvit of the Polda Metro Jaya to the area surrounding the fire.

The Director of the Ditpamobvit of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Joko Sulistio stated in a statement, that this activity demonstrates the police’s concern for the community affected by the disaster.

“We are deeply saddened by the fire that befell our brothers and sisters in Kemayoran. The presence of the Ditpamobvit with this field kitchen is a form of social service to help ease the burden on residents,” said Kombes Pol Joko.

He also explained, that the distributed food was cooked directly near the evacuation site so that residents could receive it fresh and warm. A total of 32 field kitchen team personnel were also deployed for this activity, led by the Head of Sub-Directorate for Specific Areas (Waster) of the Ditpamobvit, AKBP Rusmiati Wahyu Lestari.

The personnel arrived at the location around 12:30 p.m. Western Indonesian Time and coordinated with the sub-district office to determine the location of the field kitchen. Afterward, the team began preparing food for the affected residents.

Once the food was cooked and ready to eat, the food aid was distributed to residents in five emergency evacuation tents. The activity proceeded orderly and smoothly.

“We hope this assistance can ease the burden on the victims. The Polda Metro Jaya will remain ready to assist those in need,” said Kombes Pol Joko, offering his prayers.
