Cianjur Deputy Polres Chief, Kompol Wahyu M. Putra.
progresifjaya.co.id, CIANJUR – The Polres of Cianjur Department has welcomed a new leader. Kompol Wahyu M. Putra has been officially appointed by the leadership to serve as Deputy Polres Chief (Wakapolres) of Cianjur.
The Polres of Cianjur Department extended a warm welcome and extended congratulations to Kompol Wahyu. His presence is expected to further strengthen the implementation of police duties, particularly in providing service, protection, and care to the community within the Polres of Cianjur Department’s jurisdiction.
Complaints Kompol Wahyu M. Putra has a solid career track record within the Polda of West Java. This is evidenced by his history of strategic assignments.
As Wakapolres of Cianjur, he was appointed based on a Telegram from the Kapolda of West Java, replacing the previous Wakapolres, Kompol Mohamad Ardi Wibowo.
Prior to Cianjur, Kompol Wahyu served as Wakapolres of Tasikmalaya City. During his tenure here, he was actively involved in disaster relief efforts and attended inter-agency synergy meetings.
Previously, Kompol Wahyu also served as the Kapolsek of Cileungsi of the Polres of Bogor Department. He performed various police functions, such as crime scene inspections and maintaining public order and security before being transferred in early 2025.
Even earlier, he served as Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Polres of Lubuk Linggau Department and was then transferred to become Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Polres of Banyuasin Department of the Polda of South Sumatra in 2018.
With his experience, Kompol Wahyu M. Putra is expected to bring new enthusiasm to support the Polres of Cianjur Department’s duties while strengthening synergy within the police department and with all elements of society.
The Polres of Cianjur Department also hopes that Kompol Wahyu will carry out his mandate as Wakapolres with integrity and make a significant contribution to maintaining a conducive security and public order situation in Cianjur Regency.
And on Sunday evening, June 28, 2026, Kompol Wahyu’s move from Tasikmalaya City to Cianjur took place.
