progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – Polda Metro Jaya recorded successful security for 47 events held within its jurisdiction on Saturday, August 1, 2026. These events included three public speeches and 44 community activities.

The Head of Public Relations for Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto stated in a statement, that the successful security measures were the result of strong collaboration between Polda Metro Jaya, Kodam Jaya, and the Jakarta Provincial Government. Security measures were adjusted to the characteristics, location, and number of participants at each event. Cross-sectoral coordination with the TNI, local governments, organizers, and relevant agencies was also a key factor in ensuring the smooth running of the series of events.

“We have deployed personnel as needed at each location to provide security services and ensure a sense of security and comfort for the public participating in and engaging in activities around the event locations,” said Kombes Pol Bhudi.

A large number of participants are expected to attend these events. These included activities held at the National Monument (Monas), Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, ICE BSD City, and several other locations.

“For the Zikr and National Prayer at Monas, the Polda Metro Jaya deployed 7.643 joint personnel. Meanwhile, 1.450 joint personnel were deployed to provide security for the Aston Villa vs. Indonesia All-Star friendly match at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium,” he explained.

He also stated, that security measures were carried out professionally and humanely. Preventive and early detection measures, as well as security patrols, were also carried out at the activity locations.
