progresifjaya.co.id, KEDIRI – Dewa United FC successfully secured their first three points in the opening week of the 2026/2027 BRI Super League season. In a match held at Brawijaya Stadium, Kediri, the Banten Warriors overcame fierce resistance from Persik Kediri, winning 0-1.

Dewa United FC’s solitary goal was scored by Rafael Struick in the 15th minute of the first half. The forward netted a spectacular goal with a powerful, well-placed shot from outside the penalty area that found the back of the net, beating Persik Kediri goalkeeper Husna Al Malik.

The goal effectively silenced the pressure from Persik Kediri, who had played aggressively from the start and immediately pinned back Dewa United FC’s defense.

The hosts also had a golden opportunity through Ernesto. Following a Persik attack, Ernesto unleashed a right-footed shot; however, the effort missed the target, with the ball going wide of the Dewa United FC goal.

Persik continued to try and respond by ramping up the pressure. Yet, the Banten Warriors managed to hold onto their lead over the White Tigers until the final whistle.

With this victory, Dewa United FC temporarily sits in third place in the standings. Meanwhile, for Persik Kediri, this opening defeat leaves them languishing in 16th place in the 2026/2027 Super League table.
