Five brawl participants arrested by the Polres Metro of South Jakarta.

progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Polres Metro of South Jakarta arrested five individuals involved in a brawl between residents of Gang Sawo and Gang Manggis in Manggarai, Tebet, South Jakarta, on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at approximately 19:50 WIB. The five arrested individuals have been identified by the initials RAT, AAF, FPR, MF, and RA.

Kapolres Metro of South Jakarta, Kombes Pol I Putu Yuni Setiawan, stated that the five individuals are currently undergoing intensive questioning by investigators.

“We have secured five people suspected of involvement, and they are currently being questioned. We are also investigating their respective roles and looking into the possibility of other parties being involved,” said Kombes Pol Putu on Monday, September 21, 2026.

He further explained, that investigators have not yet determined the motive behind the brawl, which caused fear among other local residents.

The participants attacked each other using firecrackers, stones, and various other objects before the police arrived at the scene.

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations for the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanto urged the public to report any potential security disturbances or threats to safety to the police via the 110 Call Center.

“If the public becomes aware of any groups likely to cause public order disturbances, please report it to the police immediately so that preventive measures can be taken as early as possible,” said Kombes Pol Bhudi. (Bembo)
