The Polresta of Cirebon and Polsek of Susukan conducted an educational Police Go to School program at SMKN 1 Susukan in Kedongdong Village, Susukan District, Cirebon Regency.

progresifjaya.co.id, CIREBON – An educational initiative titled Police Go to Schoolbwas carried out by the Community Guidance Unit (Satbinmas) of the Polresta of Cirebon in collaboration with the Polsek of Susukan at SMKN 1 Susukan in Kedongdong Village, Susukan District, Cirebon Regency. This activity was organized as part of efforts to provide guidance and counseling to students, aiming to raise awareness regarding the law and discipline, as well as to foster a sense of responsibility for public safety and order.

During the event, the Head of the Polresta of Cirebon Community Guidance Unit, AKP Sri Nuryati, presented material on juvenile delinquency. Topics included the dangers of student brawls, involvement in motorcycle gangs, and the creation or dissemination of content related to brawls. Students were also educated on the importance of maintaining unity, avoiding negative behaviors, and creating a safe, conducive school environment.

Furthermore, the students received education on traffic discipline, covering requirements such as wearing helmets, avoiding non-compliant exhaust systems, adhering to driver’s license (SIM) regulations, not driving against the flow of traffic, and refraining from carrying more than two people on a motorcycle. The session also addressed the dangers of drug abuse and the importance of using mobile phones wisely.

Kapolresta of Cirebon, Kombes Pol Imara Utama, speaking through Kapolsek of Susukan, AKP Mulyadi, stated that the Police Go to School program represents a synergy between the Polri and schools to provide guidance to the younger generation.

Through this activity, it is hoped that students will understand the importance of maintaining unity among themselves and avoiding actions that could harm themselves or others.

It was also emphasized that a student’s primary duty is to study, develop their personal potential, and prepare for the future for the advancement of the nation and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. Therefore, students are expected to apply the values ​​of discipline, responsibility, and adherence to rules in their daily lives.
