Head of the Polres Kuningan Traffic Unit, AKP Aktuin Moniharapon, oversees security for the “Sunday Compassion” worship services.

progresifjaya.co.id, KUNINGAN – The Polres of Kuningan Traffic Unit (Satlantas Polres Kuningan) carried out a “Sunday Compassion” (Minggu Kasih) initiative, while simultaneously providing security for Christian worship services at two locations: the Indonesian Christian Church (GKI) Kuningan and the Bethel Church of Indonesia (GBI) Kuningan.

The operation was led directly by the Head of the Polres Kuningan Traffic Unit, AKP Aktuin Moniharapon. This initiative reflects the Polri commitment to providing service and protection, as well as maintaining public safety and order—specifically while the Christian community conducts their Sunday worship.

Through the “Sunday Compassion” program, Polres Kuningan traffic personnel opened a channel for direct communication and dialogue with the congregation and church leadership. This allowed them to listen to aspirations, suggestions, criticisms, feedback, and any concerns regarding police services.

Furthermore, security measures were implemented at both churches to ensure the congregation felt safe and comfortable during their worship. The presence of police personnel also serves as a humanistic approach to building closer ties with the public, strengthening community bonds, and fostering interfaith tolerance.

Through this activity, the Polres Kuningan Traffic Unit hopes to continue enhancing public trust in the Polri, strengthening interfaith harmony, and maintaining a safe, peaceful, and conducive environment within the Polres Kuningan jurisdiction.
