The Traffic Unit of the Polres Majalengka strengthens its ties with the Majalengka Scooter Chapter through a joint ride (focusing on safety riding and community building).
progresifjaya.co.id, MAJALENGKA – The Polres Majalengka Traffic Unit (Satlantas Polres Majalengka) held a “Polantas Karib” (Friendly Traffic Police) program, featuring a group ride focused on safety and community building, alongside the Majalengka Scooter Chapter. The event took place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in the Penyingkiran-Cigasong area, Majalengka, beginning at 10:00 AM.
Representing the Polres Majalengka Traffic Unit was the Head of the Traffic Unit, AKP Pandu Renata. He was accompanied by the Head of the Traffic Safety Unit (Kanit Kamsel), Ipda Haris Giri Sampan, the Kapolsek Panyingkiran, Iptu Mardiono, and various personnel from the Traffic Safety Unit. They engaged and socialized with the leadership and members of the Majalengka Scooter Chapter.
During the event, the police officers and the scooter club members rode together in an orderly fashion. The initiative was designed to foster synergy and strengthen the bond between the Polres Majalengka Traffic Unit and the Majalengka Scooter Chapter (SOG).
The ride also served as a campaign for road safety, with direct education provided regarding the importance of using proper safety gear while riding.
Furthermore, the Polres Majalengka Traffic Unit expressed its appreciation to the Majalengka Scooter Chapter for their commitment to maintaining order on the roads. The police also invited the group to become active partners in helping to reduce the number of traffic accidents.
Through this activity, the role of serving as pioneers for road safety was brought to life—demonstrated firsthand by the police and the Majalengka Scooter Chapter for the benefit of the wider public. Furthermore, a close and harmonious bond has been forged between the Polres Majalengka and youth communities, as well as automotive enthusiasts, in the Majalengka region.
Most importantly, there is an increased awareness regarding traffic safety and compliance. This also helps build a positive image of the Polri as a humanistic, inclusive institution that remains close to all segments of society—perfectly aligning with the tagline of the Kapolri, Jenderal Pol Suyudi Ario Seto: “Polisi Bersama Masyarakat”. Awesome. (Bembo)
