The Traffic Police unit of the Polres Kuningan (Satlantas Polres Kuningan) welcomes students from TKIT Izdihaar Nurulillah and PAUD Qur’an Assuffah at the Polres Kuningan Headquarters.

progresifjaya.co.id, KUNINGAN — The Traffic Unit of the Polres Kuningan Police (Satlantas Polres Kuningan) hosted an educational visit for students from TKIT Izdihaar Nurulillah and PAUD Qur’an Assuffah at the Kuningan Police Headquarters on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. The visit was part of the “Police Care for Education” program, aimed at introducing traffic rules and road safety concepts to children at an early age.

The group of students from TKIT Izdihaar Nurulillah and PAUD Qur’an Assuffah was welcomed by the Head of the Polres Kuningan Traffic Unit, AKP Aktuin Moniharapon, along with the Traffic Safety and Security Unit (Unit Kamsel).

Using an edutainment approach, the road safety material was presented in an interactive and engaging manner. Through play-based learning, the children were introduced to basic traffic signs, the meaning of traffic light colors, how to cross the street safely using a zebra crossing, and even songs themed around traffic safety.

In addition to covering road markings and signs, the officers also educated the children on the importance of wearing a helmet that meets the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) whenever they are passengers on a vehicle driven by their parents, ensuring their safety on the road.

Kapolres Kuningan, AKBP Bellen Anggara Pratama—speaking through the Head of the Traffic Unit, AKP Aktuin Moniharapon explained, that the initiative is intended not only to provide safety education but also to foster a friendly image of the police, making them more approachable to children.

“We want to dispel any fear children might have toward the police. Through a humanistic and educational approach, we hope the police will be seen as friends, guardians, and protectors of children from a very young age,” said AKP Aktuin Moniharapon.

The message was directed not only at the children but also at the accompanying teachers and the parents or guardians in attendance. The Traffic Police unit (Satlantas) urged parents to consistently serve as positive role models by adhering to traffic regulations whenever they are on the road.

This program aims to foster a sense of discipline and an awareness of the importance of following traffic rules from an early age. It also serves to strengthen the partnership between the Polres Kuningan and early childhood education institutions, with the goal of nurturing a law-abiding younger generation. (Bembo)
