The Polres Purwakarta are utilizing a combination of electronic traffic law enforcement (ETLE), manual ticketing, and sympathetic warnings to enforce traffic regulations during Operation Patuh Lodaya 2026.
progresifjaya.co.id, PURWAKARTA – The Polres Purwakarta continue to promote traffic safety awareness to prevent violations that could endanger road users as part of the Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026 campaign.
To enforce traffic regulations, the Polres Purwakarta are maximizing the use of the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) system, alongside manual ticketing and the issuance of sympathetic warnings.
“Manual ticketing is being applied selectively in accordance with established regulations, with oversight from Provost personnel,” stated the Kapolres Purwakarta, AKBP Febri Nurzam, in Purwakarta on Tuesday, October 27, 2026.
Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026 which runs for 14 days—from October 26 to November 8, 2026—aims to improve public discipline and awareness regarding traffic rules.
Furthermore, the operation seeks to reduce the number of traffic violations and foster a driving culture that prioritizes safety.
“The core objective is to enhance traffic awareness. We are reminding road users to prioritize their own safety and that of others by avoiding the use of mobile phones while driving, driving against the flow of traffic, allowing underage individuals or those without a driver’s license to operate vehicles, and ensuring the use of SNI-standard (Indonesian National Standard) helmets,” explained Kapolres Febri.
Specific violations targeted during Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026 include the use of vehicle exhausts that do not meet technical specifications, driving under the influence of alcohol, improper vehicle license plates, and illegal parking on road shoulders.
In conjunction with Operasi Patuh Lodaya 2026, Kapolres Febri also urged the public to view safety as a collective necessity, rather than merely an obligation to avoid legal sanctions.
