Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri, visited the Polres Metro of Central Jakarta to review and launch a progressive innovation program created by Kapolres Metro of Central Jakarta, Kombes Pol Susatyo Purnomo Condro.

On Friday, November 21, 2025, Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri, visited the Polres Metro of Central Jakarta Headquarters to launch a progressive service innovation there. Kapolda Kang Asep “Sniper” was warmly welcomed by Kapolres Metro of Central Jakarta, Kombes Pol Susatyo Purnomo Condro upon his arrival.

Afterward, he was escorted to the SPKT room and informed that the service there had been digitized. The public simply had to scan the barcode provided to obtain a queue number. The personnel’s performance was also tactical and systematic, ensuring fast and timely service.

From the SPKT, Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ was then escorted to a special service room for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. The personnel on duty in this room are female police officers, ensuring the safety and comfort of pregnant or breastfeeding women.

From there, Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’s next steps included the establishment of an integrated public complaints room (Dumas), a supervisory section (Siwas), and the Propam department. These outlets were specifically designed for the public to file reports if they were dissatisfied with services.

Furthermore, there was the Tahti service and the revitalization of the public service center. There were also programs for visiting crime victims, police patrol buddies, students guarding Jakarta, healthy police, and police chats.

“Yes, this is part of our commitment to improving public services. As President Prabowo said, public services must bring about real change. And this is already happening at the Central Jakarta Police,” praised Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ in his remarks.

He also stated, that all programs implemented by the Kapolres Metro of Central Jakarta fully support the Kapolri’s program.

“And i have one message: please remind yourself that we must be good police officers. No matter how great the programs are, if you don’t have a good soul within you, they’re useless,” he reminded all members.

Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ also admitted that he is currently waiting for the same initiative to be implemented by other Polres under the Polda Metro Jaya. It just needs to be adopted and implemented.

“To all Kapolres, implement this. I will be there. I’m also waiting for similar invitations from other Polres,” Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’ instructed. (Bembo)
