progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA — The Polda Metro Jaya held a night patrol today, Monday, (13/10) evening, targeting the Central Jakarta area. This night patrol was intensified with the aim of creating a sense of security and ensuring that public order and security in the capital remains conducive.

This night patrol involved 50 joint personnel from the Polda Metro and the Jakarta Provincial Government’s Public Order Agency (Satpol PP). The Polda Metro personnel involved were further divided into uniformed and plainclothes personnel.

This night patrol began at 8:00 PM WIB from the Polda Metro Jaya Ditreskrimsus Building. Before the demonstration, a roll call was held to demonstrate the personnel’s readiness for duty. The roll call was led by the Kasubbid Penmas Bid Humas Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Reonald T.S. Simanjuntak, who serves as the night patrol’s Middle-Level Supervisory Officer (Pamenwas).

In his official statement to the media, the two-jasmine officer from the Wicaksana Laghawa Battalion of the 2002 Police Academy stated, that night patrols have become a habit for Polda Metro Jaya personnel. Night patrols are routinely conducted to maintain the stability and security of the capital city and to foster a sense of calm, security, and comfort for its residents.

“Night patrols have become part of our efforts to ensure a sense of security for the people of the capital. We must also be on standby and ready at any time to ensure and guarantee that the situation within the Polda Metro Jaya jurisdiction remains under control,” said AKBP Reonald this evening.

He further stated, that the continuous implementation of patrols within the Polda Metro Jaya jurisdiction is in accordance with the direction and mandate of the Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri. The Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’, and AKBP Reonald continue, are fully committed to safeguarding and protecting the capital’s residents, ensuring that Jakarta remains secure. Kapolda Kang Asep “Sniper” has zero tolerance for any potential disturbances to public order and security within the jurisdiction of the Polda Metro Jaya.

“All potential disturbances to public order and security within the Polda Metro Jaya jurisdiction must be dealt with firmly and measuredly. In our view, public safety is a priority that we must adhere to at the Polda Metro Jaya. We act as guardians, protectors, and guardians of the community. That’s it. Period, no commas,” explained AKBP Reonald, concluding his statement firmly.

According to a carefully planned patrol route for tonight, the show of force will begin at the Polda Metro Jaya Headquarters and proceed northward toward the Semanggi Circle – the Hotel Indonesia Roundabout – the State Palace – Gambir Station – the Kwitang Mobile Brigade Headquarters – the Farmer’s Monument – Sisingamangaraja Street – Latuharhary Flyover – Rasuna Said Street – Kuningan Traffic Circle, heading back to the command post at the Polda Metro Jaya Headquarters.
