progresifjaya.co.id, PURWAKARTA – The Purwakarta Polres conducted Enhanced Routine Activities (KRYD) to regulate traffic flow in front of the Cikopo Integrated Post on Jalan Raya Cikopo, Cinangka Village, Bungursari District, Purwakarta Regency, West Java. This KRYD activity was carried out to anticipate the surge in the 2026 Eid homecoming flow.

Kapolres of the Purwakarta, AKBP I Dewa Putu Gede Anom Danujaya, led the activity, involving personnel from the Traffic Unit and the Purwakarta Polres’s Samapta Unit. Officers blocked vehicles entering the Cikopo Toll Gate.

In an official statement, the Kapolres of the Purwakarta stated, that this activity demonstrates the Polri’s commitment to providing the best service to the public, especially during the Eid homecoming flow.

“We are regulating traffic flow to ensure the smooth flow and safety of travelers. We also urge the public to continue to comply with the instructions of officers in the field and follow the traffic engineering measures in place,” said Kapolres I Dewa Putu Gede Anom Danujaya on Saturday, March 28, 2026.

During this activity, the Purwakarta Polres Traffic Unit deployed officers at congestion-prone areas, such as the border between Purwakarta and Karawang Regencies. Coordination was also carried out with the Karawang Polres, who are on duty at the Jomin intersection and the Cikampek flyover, to direct traffic heading towards the North Coast Highway (Pantura).

In addition, a water barrier was installed in front of the Cikampek Toll Gate exit leading to the Pantura arterial road. The aim is to reduce the volume of traffic heading towards the Pantura route and divert it to the central arterial road of Subang Regency via Sadang, Purwakarta. (Bembo)
