progresifjaya.co.id, JAKARTA – The Polda Metro Jaya has deployed 4.500 personnel to secure the Good Friday and Easter celebrations. Security measures are focused on providing services to ensure a sense of security through the presence of officers on the ground.

The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Bhudi Hermanton stated, that the Polda Metro Jaya wants to ensure that all worship services from Good Friday to Easter run safely and smoothly. The presence of personnel on the ground demonstrates the Polda Metro Jaya’s commitment to providing services and ensuring that worshippers can worship in peace and comfort.

Thousands of security personnel have been deployed to churches, crowded areas, and locations that serve as centers of congregational activity during the celebrations.

“The presence of police on the ground is not only to maintain public order and security, but also as a form of service from the Polda Metro Jaya to the community,” said Kombes Pol Bhudi.

“We want the public to truly feel the presence of the Polri as protectors, guardians, and servants. Therefore, security for Good Friday and Easter services is not only focused on security, but also on serving the congregation so that services can proceed peacefully and smoothly,” he added.

The security provided by thousands of personnel is also implemented in various ways, from sterilizing the location before services, regulating traffic flow, to routine patrols around the church area.

Furthermore, continued Kombes Pol Bhudi, the Polda Metro Jaya also urges the public to remain vigilant and immediately report any suspicious activity to officers or use the 110 call center.
