progresifjaya.id, JAKARTA – The Polda Metro Jaya have officially decided to suspend the detention of TikToker Figha Lesmana, also known as FL, for her content urging students to protest. This decision was made based on two reasons, humanitarian and investigative.

“The first consideration is humanitarian. Then the second consideration is the investigation. From a humanitarian perspective, we need to convey that investigators are considering that the person in question is a mother with a toddler son,” explained Kapolda Metro Jaya, Irjen Pol Asep Edi Suheri, on Thursday, (9/10).

According to Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’, as a mother, FL has the responsibility to guide and care for her son. Therefore, investigators have decided to suspend the detention.

FLA, continued Kapolda Kang Asep ‘Sniper’, is also deemed by investigators to be committed to fulfilling all obligations stipulated during the suspension process. Investigators consider this step crucial for law enforcement.

“From an investigative perspective, all the information required by investigators has been fully processed. The person concerned, FL, has also been cooperative throughout the questioning process,” said Kapolda Kang Asep “Sniper.”

“This step is also an important part of the Polri’s efforts to enforce the law by acting humanely and professionally, while adhering to the principles of justice and humanity,” he continued.

As is known, TikToker Figha Lesmana, also known as FL, was arrested by the Polda Metro Jaya for posting content urging students to protest. FL made the call via a live stream on the TikTok account @FG on August 25, 2025.

The post was posted during a press conference at the Polda Metro Jaya. In the post, FL encouraged university and vocational high school students to take part in the demonstration. He also urged influencers to call for the dissolution of the House of Representatives (DPR) and the removal of Finance Minister Sri Mulyani.

“There were around 10 million viewers. They helped promote the call to schoolchildren to take part in the demonstration,” said the Kabid Humas of the Polda Metro Jaya, Brigjen Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi, some time ago. (Bembo)
